Prior to Dunn County's Medication Round-Up there was no place to take unused or unwanted medications. With the significance of waterways being polluted by flushing medications down sinks and toilets, there was a need to reach out to the public and educate them that we can dispose of these medications properly. Not only is improper medication disposal effecting the environment, there are also devastating effects regarding medication abuse. This presentation will discuss the successes of the Medication Round-Up program.
